Once upon one sad day, my friend Samantha and her family was in a really bad airplane crash and they didn't make it out. Sometimes I still wonder if she actually did make it out. She always told me to believe and trust her, so I still do today. Today marks the first whole year that she has been gone. I have missed her so much. I hope she still watches over me. I believe she does.
Tonight before I went to bed, I was praying. When I opened my eyes, there was an amazing sight! Samantha had actually been right there in my room! I was shocked! I rubbed my eyes once or twice and there she still was. I went to go hug her. She put her arms out and then I WALKED RIGHT THROUGH HER!!! I could not believe that this was the ghost of Samantha. I fell back onto my bed and asked, "Is this the ghost of Samantha?" The ghost replied, "Yes, it's me, your best friend, Samantha." I almost fell over. It was really her.
The next morning, I woke up and went downstairs for breakfast, thinking about what had happened the night before and how I would tell my parents without them freaking out.
All of a sudden, my mom started screaming, crying, smiling and laughing all at the same time. "What's wrong, Mom?" I asked. When I walked over to her, the ghost of Michelle,
Samantha's mom, was over next to my mother and she started talking to her. My mom went to hug her. "NO! Stop!" I said. My mom didn't listen and then, like me, she WALKED THROUGH HER!!! My mom almost fainted. I had to sit her down and get her a glass of water. "I can't believe that was Michelle," she said. Then I told her about how I saw Samantha.
Then we heard my brother yell, "WOW!" My mom and I started to run upstairs to see what had been so mesmerizing. All of a sudden he came downstairs with my dad and told us about how they saw two ghosts. We all sat in the living room, but then Samantha's whole family appeared in front of us. "Is that Samantha?" my brother asked. "Yes, and there is Jake," I said. We all had big grins on our faces.
Samantha and her family live with us now. She wins at hide and seek every time.
