Tree Lighting Ceremony
Town Manager Steve Angelo along with Stroll Chairman
Peter Rossetti of Rossetti Insurance Agency will kick off
the events of the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremonies. The
Chorus will sing.
Chimes will be played at the First Congregational Church
by Carolyn Davis.
Santa will arrive courtesy of the Friends
of Breakheart Reservation.
Saturday -- December 8th
Trolleys
The trolleys will start shortly before 10:00 AM and the last
run will end at 3:30 PM.
St. Margaret's Church parking lot (located on Jackson
Street) will be open until 3:30 PM for free parking for
trolley riders.
Blessed Sacrament Church parking lot (located on Summer
Street) will also be available until 3:30 PM for free parking
for trolley riders.

One trolley route runs from the Lynnhurst School to
Saugus Center to Cliftondale Square and back again. (Three
trolleys will run this route.)

The Saugus Historical Society is pleased to announce that
they will be open at 30 Main Street at this year's
Christmas Stroll.
The 2002 Saugus calenders will be making their debut and
will be available free of charge. There will be an
exhibit titled, Saugus and the Civil War, as well as a
few videos being shown including Saugus Chronicles and
The Restoration of the Iron Works. The first fifty
visitors will receive a free Wallace Nutting
postcard.
A free raffle will be held awarding a few one year
memberships to the Saugus Historical Society. Saugus
magnets, postcards, tee shirts and all Saugus Historical
Society publications will also be available for purchase.

This is the 6th annual limited edition ornament featuring the

other. Holiday Ornaments will be available at various
locations along the Stroll route, including the Senior
Center, Town Hall. The cost is $6.00 each and all proceeds
will go toward the Saugus High School Scholarship Fund

The Saugus Historical Society is handing out copies of the
2002 Historic Saugus Calendar for free. Get your copy at the
