The Northern Strand Trail has and continues to benefit from over $60 million in funding from Local, State, and Federal sources. This is our chance to thank those that started the dream 30 years ago and everyone who has contributed to realizing the incredible trail we have today, and to show our commitment to pursuing the grand vision for a future that connects Somerville to Nahant. Word has it Governor Baker will be there to cut the ribbon himself, joined by other high-ranking officials.
