The Saugus business Nhung's Notions has just had its site completely redesigned.

The Saugus Lynnhurst Elementary School site was updated today.

We've made some minor enhancements to the RSS feeds for the Saugus Forums today. In particular, compatibility with older software should be improved.

By the time you read this, the printing of the annual Saugus Historical Society Calendar should have already started. We don't know yet how soon any completed copies will be available; the assembly phase takes longer than the actual printing.

The SAVE site was updated today.

While it may be too late to get something shipped in time for the holidays, one can still avoid the last minute rush by getting gift certificates online from places like iTunes Music Store, the Apple Store, or Amazon.com. There's no need to battle the traffic and crowds, and you can help support Saugus.net, too.

The Saugus site ShellTown.net was updated today.

We have good news for fans of the popular annual Saugus Historical Society Calendar. Assuming no unforeseen problems, it'll be going to print tomorrow and should be available in limited quantities fairly soon. We'll keep you posted.

The Educational Resources page was updated today.

The Saugus High School Alumni Association site was updated today with extensive changes made to the database of missing alumni.

For those of you doing holiday shopping online, today is the last day to take advantage of free shipping at Amazon.com and still have everything arrive by December 23^rd.

Two Saugus sites, Saugus.org and Newton's Library, were updated today.

We're continuing to add information to the new Saugus Forums help page providing yet more information on different methods of freely subscribing and/or posting to the Saugus Forums. If you think there's something we should add, please let us know.

The Saugus Post Cards Online feature has been fully restored, and a few other unrelated minor glitches corrected. If you see anything that you think is still not right, please let us know.

The weekend's work on the servers went a little more slowly than planned (even the automated back-end database reindexing didn't end up finishing until early this afternoon -- it's amazing how much Saugus stuff we've accumulated in there over the years) but everything is pretty stable now. Still, it was a major upgrade and there are bound to be a few glitches still in the system (yes, we already know about the Saugus Post Cards page and will have it back to normal soon). If you see anything that looks out of the ordinary, please let us know and we'll fix it (assuming it really is broken, of course).

We'll be running server upgrades all this weekend on all the various Saugus.net and ShellTown machines, so there may be periods of slow and/or erratic behavior. Everything should be back to normal by Monday.

The Saugus Business Partnership site was updated today with details of the Partnership's most recent meeting.

We have posted a few photographs from this year's Hammersmith Holiday Stroll. It was a little disappointing this year with not too many strollers; people instead tended to camp at particular events, some of which were not even part of the Stroll. It seems even Santa himself skipped the Stroll this year, going only to the prior night's tree lighting ceremony and the following day's Holiday Fair in Breakheart Reservation instead.
