The Belmonte Middle School PTO is sponsoring a snowflake making party before the tree lighting event. We will be making snow flakes and serving the students pizza and hot chocolate at Belmonte Middle School from 2:45 pm to 4:30 pm.

Live greens, your choice of wreath frame or small container, and a variety of seasonal embellishments to choose from will be provided. The price of $20 includes all materials and a donation to the Saugus Historical Society.

This will be an informal gathering for local winners to pick up T-shirts and take photos for the local newspapers.

The Gravestone Girls, specializing in New England historical graveyard art and customs, have researched Saugus' cemeteries and will be giving us a fascinating program on these two special places in our town. Their motto is "Keeping Our Dead Alive!" Gravestone Girl Brenda Sullivan will give us a visually rich 90 minute presentation blending humor and history. Have you ever considered that cemeteries are a sort of outdoor museum containing some amazing stories of town's people?
