It has been confirmed that printing is now underway for the 2016 Historic Saugus Calendar.

A last-minute change to the calendar delayed printing by a day, but so far as we know printing has now started on the Historic Saugus Calendar.

The 2016 Historic Saugus Calendar finished its final round of proofreading and went to the printers yesterday in the early afternoon. We'll let you know when we hear more.

For your privacy and protection, we've started the process of shifting over all the Saugus sites we maintain to use HTTPS instead of HTTP. It's not yet the default on all pages, but you may start to see the secure page indicator here and there as you explore. If you encounter any difficulties, please let us know.

As a follow-up to Friday's post, we are confirming that there was no Historic Saugus Calendar released for 2015. Everyone trying to locate one to complete a collection can stop. The work was mostly completed on it but the production did not run. It looks good for the 2016 calendar though, and we'll keep you informed of updates to its status.

We've been asked about the 2016 Historic Saugus Calendar. As you are probably aware, there was no 2015 calendar, but the Saugus Historical Society is actively trying to restore it for 2016 and keep the tradition going. Please remember it's entirely a volunteer effort and the costs for producing the calendar are entirely covered by its sponsors.
