Some improvements were made to the RSS feed facility today, and in particular it now passes some fairly rigorous validation checks. If you're an RSS user, you may see some speed improvements. If you're not, probably the only change you'll see is the relocation of the RSS icon from the sidebar to the main text area.

A wall remembering the horrific events of September 11, 2001 is being displayed at the Veterans' Memorial on the corner of Winter and Central Streets in Saugus. The wall is the project of Russ Peres, a vet who lost his family doctor on that tragic day. He refers to his project as a "wall of love" and has taken it throughout the east coast. The wall will be in Saugus through the weekend.
