Description:
The final Ochmoneks performance will be held on this Sunday at O'Brien's in Allston. This is a 21+ show, and it would be very nice to see everyone there. Perhaps can become more of a celebration than a collection of elegies. I know it will certainly be that way to me, and I want to invite all of you to come. To everyone who has ever gone to a show, suffered through crappy opening bands (and crappy incarnations of this band), bought a CD, taken pictures, filmed us, played with us, and, most importantly, listened, we would like to thank you wholeheartedly. Thanks for your support through the years, Christopher

Tours on the house from 11am-4pm An opportunity to see inside this c. 1687 house built for the young family of William Boardman, a local joiner, this house has survived remarkably intact since its construction. Interesting features that were discovered include a wall of original 17th century oak clapboards that are visible from the lean-to attic, ceilings on the upper floor that were never plastered, and a portion of skirt board that once finished the rear wall of the house. With the exception of minor structural stabilization and repairs, the house has since gone unaltered, providing a great opportunity to view 17th and 18th century construction techniques and finishes.
