The Saugus Area Educational Resources page was updated today.

The local business Alarm Controls Systems had its site updated today.

The Saugus Area Organizations, Clubs, and Places of Worship page was updated today.

So far as we know, the little glitches resulting from the move have all been fixed (the final two were with the Ghost Story Writing Contest and the Questions to the Candidates sections). If you find anything else that seems odd, please let us know.

The office will be closed today for the holiday. However, the Community Events Calendar, Yard Sale Calendar, and other like pages will continue to be updated.

These past few days we've been fixing glitches as quickly as we find them. We fixed the listing of past Founders' Day Contests, but we're still working on the past Halloween Story Contest entries (some are displaying properly, but some aren't).

The Saugus SETI page has had some outdated links fixed today.

The Computer Filename Extensions List was updated today.

The television and radio page was updated today.

The work mentioned Friday continues. While most should be seeing the new Saugus.net hardware now, a similar transition was started today for Saugus.org and it may take a couple days to settle.

Saugus.net is in the process of another major hardware and software upgrade. The switchover has already started, but each machine will start finding the new version at its own pace. If you're seeing this message, your computer is already looking at the new version. Many things have changed under the hood, although the overall look-and-feel should (for the time being, at least) remain the same. Although we have run extensive tests in the new environment, little problems may still have sneaked through the cracks. If you see anything that looks particularly odd, please let us know. Also, if you'd like to get more blow-by-blow details of what's changing when, you can view Saugus on Twitter.

We have a bit more information on this year's Rheumatoid Arthritis Walk in which Saugonian Carolyn Brown is to serve as the adult ambassador. As many of you realize, Carolyn used to answer the telephones here at Saugus.net, and this event has traditionally been well-supported by Saugonians. If you'd like to join her team or otherwise donate to the cause, you can do so directly online. The Saugus Fuddruckers is also holding a pre-walk fundraiser; everyone is welcome to attend.
