Cliftondale Congregational Church, 50 Essex Street, Saugus, is having a rummage sale on Saturday, May 8, from 8AM to 2PM. Items for sale will include clothing, toys, books, jewelry, furniture, tools, linens, sports equipment, small appliances, CDs and DVDs, and more. Visit the snack bar for breakfast or lunch. A preview party will be held on Thursday night, May 6, from 7PM to 9PM. The cost of the preview party is $5, and includes refreshments. Come find a bargain!

Cleaning out your attic and closets? Your used clothing, shoes, and household items can help. Big Brother Big Sister will be in Saugus Thursday, May 13 If you are in the process of packing away some of your older items, you might want to consider donating a few of them. If you have begun your spring cleaning and have accumulated unwanted used clothing, shoes, knick knacks and miscellaneous household items, call us. Your donations will help children in your community and provide a deduction on next year's taxes. You can help out a great cause without opening your wallet. We accept donations of clothing, shoes, books, small toys, games and household items. We do not collect any furniture. We use these collected items to help support the work of BBBS mentoring agencies throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We'll pick up your donations for free and drop off a tax deductible receipt. You can arrange a pick-up by phone, e-mail, or through our Web site. For a small fee, we'll even pick up your old electronics. E-mail us at electronics@bbbsfoundation.org for fee and pickup information. We also provide this service for businesses, schools, health care facilities and DPW's.

Pre-registration is required. Free (except for propane tanks $5 each, car tires $2 each, and truck tires $10 each) to Saugus residents.
