Warm weather is on its way Saugus children want to get out and play! Come join your friends and neighbors and help get our parks and playgrounds ready for spring! If you are not pre-registered, please meet at the Saugus High School at 8:00 AM. You will be assigned to a park and will begin cleaning at 9:00 AM. We will meet back at Saugus High School around 12:30 PM for a Thank You Celebration. We will have a DJ, food, games, and fun! All are invited! Residents, church groups, sports teams, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, PTO groups, SHS & middle school students needing community service, etc... BYOR (bring your own rake) we have a limited supply! Adults must accompany younger children.

Curbside leaf collection will take place the week of May 11 - 15, 2015, on your regular collection day. There will be no "missed pick-ups" conducted. The Town asks that you please do your part in proper preparation for disposal. We ask that you abide by the following rules: * Leaves must be out for collection by 7:00AM on your regular rubbish collection day. * Leaf containers must be physically separated from trash and recycling. Paper leaf bags are preferred for leaf disposal. If barrels are used to contain the leaves, barrels must be clearly marked with yard waste stickers (free at lower level at Town Hall) and covers must be removed so the leaves are visible. No plastic bags or cardboard boxes will be accepted. No branches or brush will be collected. Please note that separate trucks collect the rubbish, recycling, and leaves; so the leaves may be collected at a different time of day.
