While it's been unseasonably warm the Saugus area yard sales page took longer this year to die down in activity. It has been pretty quiet lately though so we've shut it down for the season and taken it off the sidebar. It'll be back when the weather warms up again.

Remember while you're taking advantage of Cyber Monday sales online that several local businesses maintain an online presence, too. Places like Ace of Clubs Golf and Nhung's Notions sell their goods and services all over the country but are based right here in Saugus.

The Saugus.net office will be closed today and tomorrow for the Thanksgiving holiday. Pages like the Saugus events calendar will continue to be updated even through the weekend.

Some sites distributing this year's free Historic Saugus Calendar for 2011 will be open this holiday weekend even when the Saugus Town Hall is closed.

Don't forget to pick up your free Historic Saugus Calendar for 2011. Copies can be found in the Saugus Town Hall, the Saugus Public Library, and all the other regular distribution locations.

The Ghost Story Contest charts have all been updated showing the latest tallies of where winners come from, which schools can boast the most victories, and other similar details. The communities of San Marino (California) and Revere (Massachusetts) as well as Saugus locally each claimed two victories this year. The biggest news is perhaps that Revere High School can now claim to be the winningest high school in the contest's history, taking the crown away from Saugus.
