We've now started to post the winners in our fifth annual Halloween Ghost Story Contest. We'll be continuing to post them throughout the night, category by category. While the Adult category was even more competitive than last year (it has been steadily getting tougher with each passing year) and the High School category became somewhat competitive this year, there was an overall drop in number of entries due to a huge decline in both the Elementary and Middle School levels. The quantity of out-of-state entries increased with eight states (some boasting multiple entries) being involved.

Late tonight is the deadline for submitting entries into this year's Halloween Ghost Story Contest (officially the deadline is at 11:59:59, but we actually check a little later than that, so don't worry if you're just a few minutes late). Anything received after that will be held for next year's contest. Please ensure that if you e-mailed your entry to us, you received some sort of reply that we got it; we do acknowledge all e-mail entries to ensure that nothing gets lost in the ether.

The deadline for this year's Halloween Ghost Story Contest is fast approaching, and while there are (so far) quite a few adult prose entries, there aren't (yet) that many entries in any of the other categories. In fact, no one has submitted a "new contest option" entry yet.

The office will be closed today in observance of the holiday; pages like the Community Events Calendar will continue to be updated, and e-mail will continue to be read, however.

The Prince Pizzeria & Bar site and Giggles Comedy Club site were updated today; both feature new coupons.
