This is the final weekend before the deadline Monday for our 21st Annual Ghost Story Writing Contest. If you have not gotten your entry in yet, now is the time.

This is just a reminder about school-age entries for our annual Halloween writing contest. We prefer teachers making our contest extra credit rather than a required assignment as we want to encourage a love of writing rather than make it a chore. If you must assign it, please do not send dozens of stories to us last minute without any advance warning; it is far better for you to pick just a few champions from each of your classes. We are getting entries that are not even stories, let alone being on-topic. Everyone involved with this contest is a volunteer, and sending unscreened student assignments just wastes our time.
