Commander Bonner of the U.S.S. Constitution will speak at the Saugus Historical Society's first meeting of the fall 2012 season at 30 Main Street, Saugus.

Willow wreaths and artificial autumn foliage, fruits and flowers will be supplied as well as instructions and inspiration to make indoor or outdoor fall wreaths. Registration is strongly recommended but participants will be accepted at the door on a space available basis.

The Saugus Rotary Club, in conjunction with the M.E.G. Foundation, are proud to present the 40th Annual Saugus Art Festival. Submissions by artist of all ages, and in all mediums, are welcome and invited. A reception and awards ceremony will take place on Friday, September 28th at 7:30 p.m. The reception, and the open exhibition from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., are free to the public. The Class of 1962 will celebrate its 50th Reunion on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Marriott in Peabody - $75/person. The have reserved a room for an "all-you-can-eat" breakfast buffet on Saturday morning (Sept. 29th); cost for this is $20 per person. If you plan to attend the breakfast, along with the reunion, payment must be made when you pay for the reunion ($95 per person).
