Saugus School Project Special Election
Most of the unofficial results of the election have been tabulated. They're
still unofficial because overseas federal employees etc. are allowed to
vote and their votes can take up to ten days to arrive back and be counted.
The executive summary is that both questions passed with the new combined
middle / high school and athletic field being slightly more popular than the
Belmonte and Veterans reconfigurations.
Question #1
Question #1 essentially was whether or not there should be a Proposition 2 1/2 override to build a new combined high school / middle school and athletic field.
